You may have many questions and not know where to turn for answers.

Who will fix my car?
Who will pay my medical bills?
Who will pay my lost wages?

Who will help me?

Below we have provided answers to a few questions we are frequently asked.

How do you evaluate my case?

After receiving all the information you can provide us here at Andrew Stinnette Personal Injury attorneys, and we have entered into an attorney client agreement, we will contact the necessary parties to inform them of your legal representation. We will send both insurance companies a letter of representation, informing them who we represent, and to make all future communications through our office. We then ensure you are being taken care of by ensuring arrangements are made to have your vehicle cared for, by either getting you into a rental car, or having your vehicle repaired. We also make sure you are referred to a treating physician as soon as possible to assess your injuries so that you may receive proper care. The state of Florida’s PIP (Personal Injury Protection) statue requires that you begin receiving treatment within the first 14 days from your Florida motor vehicle accident to receive full PIP benefits.

How much is my case worth?

Often one of the first questions we are asked by someone who has been injured in an accident is, “What is my case worth?” The only way to offer a valid answer on this subject is to investigate the facts, review medical records and bills, find out if the client has permanent injuries, and check to see how much insurance is available. At that point a reasonable estimate can be made, however there are still many varying factors that can change that estimate. The value of a case should only be determined after:

all medical records have been reviewed

all medical bills have been obtained

all wage loss information has been received

the treating physician has been consulted

the facts surrounding the accident have been completely investigated to determine fault

the source of collection is determined

We understand it is tough being the victim of a Florida personal injury when another person was careless in their actions. It’s even worse when you don’t understand the legal process of getting your claim resolved. However, there are some general guidelines to help you in this process. In order to be compensated, the following must be established: liability, damages, and compensation

Liability – who was at fault?

Damages – property, lost wages, medical expenses etc..

Compensation – usually the at fault persons insurance company.
